I often get people asking me how I got started on Bookstagram and how they too can be a part of this fabulous online community of book lovers.
For those who don’t know, Bookstagram is an online community of book lovers on Instagram who take and upload photos and reviews of books using the hashtag #bookstagram to reach a wide net of book lovers from across the globe.
About two years ago I was reading a magazine and flicked over to the book and film section where there was a segment on a group of readers who use Instagram to review books they have read and share reading recommendations with others.
I checked out the hashtag Bookstagram and was met with thousands upon thousands of people from all over the world who share my love for reading and discussing books.
The rest, as they say, is history!
